Job Description
Specific duties and responsibilities:
• Make sure to open a shipping file for each PO received from procurement Department.
• Follow up on orders with suppliers/forwarders and advise relevant departments of the status.
• Ensure that all updates are fed in the system.
• Liaise with forwarders and accounts dept locally and overseas to secure adequate and timely payments.
• Prepare accurate shipping documents for custom clearances for both imports and exports.
• Trace the custom deposits and make sure that clearance of overseas projects is cleared under re-export.
• Prepare exit forms for re-export cargo.
• Ensure the timely communication of information to all concerned parties.
