Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Detailed technical specification review, interpreting various technical clauses and commenting on them considering product range, manufacturing capabilities and various international standards. 2. Motor selection for various applications considering implications of various physical and electrical parameters 3. Preparing technical and commercial offers for Sales Team 4. Interact and communicate with customers/sales to resolve any ambiguities 5. Technical discussions with customers (both pre-order and post order discussions) 6. Interact and communicate with Engineering to meet non standard technical requirements; wherever required 7. Give market inputs, interact and communicate with marketing superiors to define prices for non standard motors; wherever required 8. Preparation of technical documentation (pre-order & post order) in coordination with Engineering 9. Coordination with various departments of factory in order execution 10. Site visits for collection of data along with Engineering 11. Tracks stocks levels. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor production and delivery schedules. 12. Maintain database for better tracking purposes 13. Develops a team working relationship between all employees. Continually improve product knowledge and selling skills through independent study and training provided by our company. 14. Prepares reports of business transactions. Enters new customer data, motor prices and other sales data for current customers into computer database. Works with outside salesmen to keep account activities and literature up to date. 15. Customer order review and issue order acknowledgements 16. Prepare order write up and forward to our company Purchasing Department for order entry. File every quotation and correspondences. 17. Follow up & timely execution of orders 18. Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. 19. Assist Accounts Department in various reports preparation 20. Make reports and proposals to our company management that improve our company overall performance, limit impending problems or losses and expose unethical behavior. Personal Competencies: 1.
