Job Description
Participate in studying Tender packaging for (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing etc.)
Able to prepare Tender packaging for design and built projects.
Able to preparing the technical value engineering proposals.
Participate in reviewing project's contracts.
Coordinate and collaborate with different trades to fulfill the pricing process properly.
Attend tender briefings, conferences, post tender award meetings and training events as required, ensuring the relevant information is summarized and fed back effectively.
Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
prepare Cost Breakdown Structure including material, equipment, transportation, lifting, labor and any other needed items by doing internal calculation sheets for all Mechanical trades.
Modify & consolidate the final tender documents technical & commercial offers per the tender instructions.
request feedback where tenders are unsuccessful and ensure this information is used to inform future tender submissions.
Conduct complete analysis of actuals cost in comparison with the estimated budget for the project for both Cost & schedule of activities.
provide coaching, mentoring and learning support to junior colleagues.
take on delegated responsibilities in the absence of the Manager.
supervise colleagues to ensure ongoing professional development.
maintain confidentiality always, in accordance with the agreed policy.
