Job Description
1. Translate from Source to Target language and vice versa;
2. Assist in the preparation of patent evaluation reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information;
3. Keep records and maintain a database of documents as they are translated and evaluated;
4. Read through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;
5. Research legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation;
6. Proofread and edit final translated and edited documents;
7. Provide grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document;
8. Prioritize work to meet deadlines;
9. Assist CSR and lawyers with proofreading and editing, grammar and spelling correction;
10. Produce bilingual documents in the format requested by CSR.
