Job description:
Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops such as vegetables, fruits, or grains.
Prepare soil by plowing, fertilizing, and irrigating fields.
Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment.
Weed, prune, and protect crops from pests and diseases.
Sort, clean, and pack produce for shipment or sale.
Feed and care for livestock (if applicable).
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow safety procedures.
Assist with greenhouse work or plastic tunnel farming (if required).
Work in various weather conditions for extended hours.
Requirements:
Previous farm experience is preferred but not required
AbilIty to lift heavy loads and work on feet for long hours
No formal education required – training is usually provided
Compliance with health and safety regulations |
